Come Along on Our Prayer Journey

Immense power of group prayer with shining light

A group of prayer warriors has been formed to pray for the needs of congregation members and friends. The group meets at 11 a.m. on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month in the church.

IF YOU are not attending, YOU are missing a great opportunity that we all should take to receive a blessing and to be a blessing to others. Please don’t miss out!

Come learn and become more comfortable with praying aloud for others.

To submit prayer requests, write your request on one of the cards near the wooden box in the narthex and place it in the slot on top. You may sign your name or remain anonymous. Merlin Fields leads the prayer journey.

Shadow of the Cross Tee Shirts Still Available

Shadow of the Cross t shirt with picture of the church and a Bible verse

Body, Soul & Spirit Ministry continues to spearhead a tee shirt sale as part of Shadow of the Cross’s spirit wear – this is an ongoing endeavor.

The shirts are $15, with a discount for a family with 4 or more members, and for toddlers. Proceeds go to the church. Please see any member of the Body, Soul & Spirit Ministry for more information or call the church office (248-474-0675).

Order forms for the tee shirts are also located on the table in the Narthex.

Weekly Work Around the Building

Interior of the sanctuary

The Board of Trustees hosts a weekly workday (Tuesdays, beginning at 3:30 p.m.) for anyone who wants to help maintain our beautiful building. There is lots to do, so any help is always welcome. Ending time depends on how many are working and what is being worked on.

There is still a lot of work to do, and your help is desperately needed. Please volunteer, even if it’s only for a short time.

Our Flower Beds Need You

Purple and pink flowers

We are in need of volunteers to help. A little weeding each week is necessary to keep our church grounds beautiful and inviting. If you are or will be available, please sign up on the form posted on the bulletin board next to the pastor’s office. (Watch out for poison ivy near the north fence – not sure if it’s completely gone yet.)

If you have questions, contact Nina Howard.
