OUR BIBLE GIVEAWAY MINISTRY is off to a great start! God is good!
Thanks to your donations of Bibles and through a couple of monetary
contributions toward new Bibles, we should have around 370 Bibles to
start giving away in time for Easter Sunday! Twenty-four of these
Bibles are in Spanish; 4 in Arabic, and 1 in Portuguese. The Bibles
we have to date are located on the shelf in the back of the
sanctuary. So if you meet a first-time visitor, offer them a Bible!
We will also have them available to give away at such events as the
rummage sale, VBS, the craft garage sale, etc. A special thanks goes
out to Betty Wallace for her contribution that enabled us to
purchase the Spanish and Arabic Bibles!
Everyone is invited to attend the popular midweek, midday Lenten worship services and luncheons, beginning at noon on Wednesdays through March 21, at Christ Our Savior, located at 14175 Farmington Road in Livonia (just north of I-96). Pastors from area LCMS congregations will take turns preaching at these noon Lenten services, while a pastor from Christ Our Savior will lead the liturgy and prayers. A light luncheon will be provided after every service. Come join us during the daylight hours for worship and lunch with brothers and sisters from nearby congregations!

The Church Clean-Up Day at St. Paul’s will be Saturday, May 12.
Then the summer work outside will begin in earnest. Beds to be planted, shrubs to be trimmed, weeds to be killed, trees to trim up, grass to be mowed, etc. If you have an interest and a desire to be a part of the action, please let your favorite Board of Properties member know. Many hands make for quick work.
Inside work includes quite a bit of painting and sprucing up. Most of the painting that needs to be done does not require much prep work, just a brush, roller and willing spirit.
Once again, there will be a list of opportunities for service posted. Please look at it carefully, then sign up for a project or two!
St. Paul’s Women’s League has a slew of events coming up!

On April 24, the LWML Spring Rally will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Northville.
On April 30, the Council of Lutheran Women will conduct their spring meeting here at St. Paul’s. We need your help wo serve the continental breakfast at 9:15, and the lunch at noon.
