Perhaps the finest modern era J-200 built by Gibson. These historic series, custom shop, 1957 SJ-200s are outstanding!! Light as a feather, resonant, huge projection, thin VOS hand rubbed finish, baked/VTS Sitka top with gorgeous flamed maple for back and sides, hand carved/hand painted from original cast pick guards.....the list goes on. This example is a standout in every way with amazing volume on tap and not a hint of the compression that 200s can be known for. The guitar has been pampered and maintained in a perfectly humidified environment at 50% year round. It has never been gigged or removed from its room. Period case is flawless as it has received no use. Non smoking household.......I can't stress enough how well it has been kept. Action and intonation are perfect!
